Moraira Photos. San Jaime Urbanization and Golf, Cap Blanc, Moravit Costa Blanca Spain

These photos were taken at the end of January and show you more of Moraira and it's urban areas with it's beaches and bays. Moraira comprises of urbanizations with quiet residential streets and a village centre of low rise apartments beside the sea and port. Click on the link if you want to see a specific urbanization.

The San Jaime Golf Club is situated in the San Jaime Urbanization on the Moraira Benissa border. It is a 3.406 metre, 9 hole, Par 60 course and the photo shows the clubhouse and restaurant. It has an attractive pool terrace with a panoramic view over the Mediterranean. Founded in the early 1970's San Jaime is unusual for it's broad well lit streets and garden areas. It is a large urbanization divided into different sectors with sector M overlooking the golf and sector C having excellent sea and Peñon de Ifach views.  San Jaime also has a small development of bungalows with tennis courts. Mail is delivered here by a private San Jaime postman. enlarge

Another view of San Jaime showing the villas overlooking the links. The Urbanization for the most part comprises of larger family villas and is one of the more expensive locations on the Costa Blanca. Amost all the villas have pools and private mature gardens. enlarge

Across the coast road from San Jaime, the road runs through a pine forest to arrive at the Cap Blanc cliff top. First and second line villas here have fabulous views across to Calpe Bay and the Peñon de Ifach. One road  winds down to a small parking near the sea with a flight of stairs leading down to a sunbathing and diving jetty. enlarge

A nearby commercial area is Pepe la Sal at the entrance to Cap Blanc and San Jaime with a supermarket, restaurants, general shops and about 10 minutes drive from Moraira. enlarge

Behind San Jaime you can find the heavily wooded Partida Moravit  turning of the Cami de l'Andrago. The photo shows the shady streets with private villas of individual design. In contrast to Calpe, Moraira-Teulada properties have a street name and number. Calpe properties use an Urbanization name and number.  Moravit adjoins the similar Fanadix and Cometa areas that date from the 1970's and 1980's. enlarge
