All these photos were taken in mid November and show you more of the fine Calpe beaches, harbour, Calpe old town and residential areas. Calpe combines quiet residential streets with private villas and beachfront and town centre apartments. Click on the link if you want to see a specific urbanization.

Las Adelfas is a quiet urbanization of snug double and single storey bungalows less that 5 minutes drive from Calpe centre. Each las Adelfas property has a private parking, front and back terraces and they have a good degree of privacy from the successful diagonal plan. The mountain in the background is the Olta whos upper part is a protected green zone. The Las Adelfas urbanization has very easy access to Calpe centre and to the N332 road to Benissa and Altea, and is more residential than holiday orientated, making a good compromise choice between an apartment and a villa.   enlarge

Borumbot is a small residential area situated directly beside Calpe town and bordering the sea with some older apartment buildings with fine views and equally well situated large luxury villas. This photo is of properties in the higher part of Borumbot bordering La Manzanera with Calpe Rock in the background. enlarge

On the part of Borumbot adjoining Calpe town there are some popular beachfront bungalows that are fully booked for rental each year. On the photo you can see them with the properties of the Maryvilla urbanization on the Punto de Toix in the background. The Toix divides Calpe from Altea and a road runs around the summit to give great views of Mascarat and Luis Campomanes sports harbour. It is a favourite spot for para gliding with a launch site off in the Altea direction taking advantage of the sea breezes funnelled by the Sierra Bernia mountain range.  enlarge

Calpe Park is a mature development of spacious double storey bungalows that make a good alternative to a private villa. Each Calpe Park bungalow has an enclosed garden terrace and use of the extensive park area with swimming pool, tennis and a restaurant. There is plenty of space here for parking. Calpe Park properties are popular with families due to the urbanization's green areas which including a children's play park and the proximity to Calpe centre and the schools. enlarge

Another view of Calpe Park showing the mature gardens. The pool area with bar is open in summer and provides a large area of shallow water for the exclusive use of residents. It is situated in the centre of the urbanization and surrounded by extensive well kept lawns that are shaded by palms and pine trees. enlarge

La Canuta is a residential area of private villas situated on low hills directly to the west of Calpe town. The villas here often have wonderful sea and Penoñ de Ifach views. Many La Canuta properties have been or are being renovated and are a good choice for their proximity to the town. The wall in the picture is typical Valencia, Calpe, Alicante, Altean dry stone construction using limestone from the local quarries. Experienced masons chip the rough stone blocks to give a solid, well fitting smooth finish. enlarge

The La Canuta residential area is divided into Canuta Baja near the sea, Canuta Alta by the entry to Calpe and La Canuta beside the town. The properties here mostly date from the 1970's and 80's with a few new developments and the area is characterized by it's quiet high walled streets.  enlarge
