 La
Vallesa urbanization has wide new streets and mostly new villas with pools and is
situated behind Levante beach. On main dual carriage way take a left turn at the
Esmeralda Hotel roundabout and follow the Merced road with the speed bumps. The access
road to La Vallesa is about 1.5 km along on the left with the properties situated on a low
lying hill wit open sea views. enlarge |
 La Vallesa also has a popular development of bungalows (Villas del Mar)
combining detached and semi-detached properties. Each bungalow has a private parking and
they all have an extra upper floor bedroom with shower and a large roof terrace. Calpe's new La Vallesa park and barbeque area is directly opposite the urbanization with picnic tables under the pine trees. The trend in the Costa Blanca is to develop more green recreational areas with Calpe in the forefront. enlarge |
 Colari
adjoins La Vallesa and Los Almendros and is another urbanization with quick access to the
coast and Levante beach. You will find almost exclusively individual private villas here
of every type and design and the odd few plots still available for construction. Many Calpe properties have satellite television with the type of dish and encoder deciding which European channels you would like to see. Calpe also has complete coverage for broadband internet that can be connected in a week. enlarge |
 Los
Almendros properties are on higher ground giving views over the Salinas and the
Peņon de Ifach. The photo shows a luxury property with features like decorative brick
eaves, tosca style window and door mouldings, quality roof tiling, tile finished walling
and high grade dry stonework. At Inmocostablanca we will usually have one or two new and
resale villas from this same builder. Automatic entry gates and an entry phone system are useful features for a property like this and don't represent a great extra cost. enlarge |
 A
photo of the lower part of Los Almendros urbanization. A fine palm like this one produces
big bunches of edible dates. The villas in Los Almendros look over the Las Salinas salt lake with it's resident population of Flamingos and it's always surprising to see these birds right in the centre of Calpe. They feed there during the day and fly around the lake at night. The Salinas is being incorporated into a new residential area while respecting it's special ecological interest for the Costa Blanca. enlarge |
 Ortenbach
is one of the first Calpe urbanizations with most of the original owners being German and
Swiss. Now it's a lot more international like the rest of Calpe. The photo shows a good
cypress hedge that is easy to keep, gives very good privacy and doesn't need watering
after the first year or two. You can also see a newly asphalted street from Calpe's

 An
Ortenbach street that shows some nice old palms in mature gardens. Tropical shrubs,
swimming pools and terraces combine to make some very attractive and private living areas
in the more established urbanizations. enlarge |
 Enchinent
is one of the smaller urban areas in Calpe featuring good sea views and new well made wide
streets. You can see the water and electricity supply cabinets on the near side wall that
come as standard on urban land and give you immediate utility supplies as soon as your
property is completed. The Calpe water supply is reliable and the electricity supply is
much more stable with the opening of a new Calpe sub-station in 2003 reflecting the high
infrastructure investment by Calpe town hall over the last decade. enlarge |
