 We can recommend local banks that speak English and provide competitive offers to non-residents. Up to 70% of the purchase price can be borrowed, and you can open an account and have the mortgage approved while you are in the U.K.
 When you have identified a suitable property, a reserve of € 1.500 allows us to hold it for you for a period of 15 days. We then conduct a registry and local authority search to ensure that the property is free of debts. It is also a good moment to apply for a N.I.E. number. We prepare the documentation for you. All foreign owners have one and you will need it later.

 After confirmation that the property is in a proper legal position for sale we send you the draft contract. If you are in agreement this is signed and the deposit transferred to Miró. The contract will fix the latest completion date.
 The principal of Inmobiliaria Miró is a government licenced estate agent and valuer (Agente de la Propiedad Inmobiliaria A.P.I. Nº 835), authorized to carry out property conveyancing. However should you prefer to employ a lawyer we can recommend a selection that speak English.
 Completion is usually 4 to 6 weeks after signing the contract. The agent accompanies the purchasers and sellers to a notary's office. The notary witnesses the signatures on the deed of sale and the mortgage and you make full payment and receive the keys.
