Benissa properties reach down from Benissa
town on a series of terraced hilltops to the Mediterranean at the Cala de Fustera,
Llobella and Baladrar. Las Basetes sports harbour is next to Calpe and is surrounded by
the first and second line villas of Urbanization Les Basetes. The urbanization is shared
between Calpe and Benissa and has a mix of old and new luxury properties along tree lined
streets with exceptional views of the Peņon de Ifach (Calpe Rock).
La Fustera is 1 km further
along the Calpe - Moraira road with it's own small blue flag beach. The urbanizations of
La Fustera and Club Fustera are set on a series of rolling hills near to Calpe, comprising
villas with pools and mature gardens and often very good sea views. Urbanization Altamira
adjoins La Fustera and is known for the Altamira bungalow development. There is easy
access from this whole area to the Calpe beaches and Calpe town.

The next landmark along the coast road is the Fanadix green zone with it's picnic area. Turning sharp right leads directly into Urbanization Patmore with its sea front property and fantastic views. Turning left, you are in Avenida de Fanadix that links the coast with Urbanization Finca Paquero and Urbanization Los Bancales. Keep going and you will arrive at Urbanization Tossal and Pedramala village. Many villas in Finca Paquero and Los Bancales have now been renovated and the hilltop villas of Tossal are for the most part large family properties with panoramic views. Urbanization Magraner is a completely new development of individual villas beside Los Bancales.
The Viņasol Restaurant and supermarket is half way between Calpe and Moraira on the coast road with a turn off here leading up to the hillside urbanizations of Buenavista and Montemar. These were some of the first Costa Blanca urbanizations and were located to take advantage of fine Mediterranean views. Properties here are typically two storey in the tower style, with the main living area and terrace on the top floor and a guest apartment with terrace below. They almost all come with wood burning chimneys and if they didn't originally have a pool one has usually been added. The gardens here are now full of mature pine, palm and acacia trees. The road past Urbanization Montemar leads to Pedramala and Benissa town.
Baladrar and San Jaime, with it's Golf Club is towards the Moraira end of the Benissa coastline. Urbanization Baladrar is situated around a bamboo filled valley that goes down to sea and the Montemar Hotel and La Tartaņa Restaurant can be found here. Above Baladrar is the Urbanization Los Almendros who's villas look across to San Jaime and the Golf Club.
