These photos were taken in February and show you more of Altea and it's urban areas with it's attractive hill top old town and new Altea Hills urbanization and Luis Campomanes sports harbour. Altea comprises of sunny hill side urbanizations on the east side of the town with a long curving bay lined with low rise beachfront apartments.  < Altea Hills is an new high quality development with
panoramic views over Altea and the Mediterranean. The urbanization is located on the
seaward side of the Bernia with a private access from the N332 coast road that leads to a
reception area and the five star Melia Altea Hills Resort Hotel. All the streets have
pavements and street lighting with the residential area being a mix of luxury villas with
pools and town houses. Altea Hills is situated beside the Luis Campomanes Sports Harbour

 < The Altea Hills properties reach to the top of the Bernia and this
is the wonderful view from one of the top roads. Altea town is in the centre of the bay
with the Sierra Helada of Albir in the distance. Villas here are on steep plots although
they all have entrances at street level and usually have pools leading from the main

 < The urbanization is divided into separate areas with bungalows and
town houses around the Hotel Melia, shopping area and bars and restaurants, and the
private villas being located mostly on the higher streets. The group of properties in the
photo are off Avenida de Europa and look over Campomanes harbour with the Moro de Toix of
Calpe in the background. Most of the Altea Hills properties are located on sunny south

 < If you follow Altea Hill's access road to the sea you arrive at the Luis
Campomanes Sports Harbour that is located directly on Greenwich meridian
00º.00'. The harbour is well know for it's fine collection of luxury yachts and the are
plenty of stylish bars and restaurants with open terraces inviting you to pass the time.
The port currently has 543 berths with plans to extend this to 1.000.
The residential area in the harbour combines the townhouse property
that you can see in the foreground with apartment developments beside the cliffs. |

 < A photo of the Puerto Campomanes town houses beside the yacht
moorings. Restaurants, bars and shops line the street on the right and the whole urban
area has open access by car. There are good pizzas en La Tartaña restaurant with

 < Pueblo Mascarat is a self contained development
that extends above the harbour towards Calpe featuring Spanish village style properties
with walkways, terraces and traditional features. The coast road can be reached directly
from the Pueblo with Campomanes having a separate entrance. Local letting agencies with
